Metalier Splashbacks
Metalier coatings are real metal coatings that are sprayed or applied to almost any substrate – mdf, plywood, other metals and even polystyrene on occasions.
The metalier product is suitable for interior and most exterior use, as it is water-proof. When the product is finished, it contains up to 95% pure metal and smooth coats are less than .5 of a mm thick. Consequently, it is very durable and will last outdoors for 20 plus years.
You can choose from a selection of metals available, with the addition of creating “hybrids” of two or more metals, and two metals can be applied together to create patterns.
The benefits of metalier splashbacks over sheet and foundry metal are that there is no limitation to sheet size – metalier splashbacks can be seamless over a large area and is much lighter than sheet metal. Additionally, metalier coatings are available in more shades than sheet and can be textured and patterned to order. It's also a little more versatile as it goes around curves and corners, producing bespoke and unique finishes.
