Sixteen years ago, Malcolm and Lesley McLagan took a giant leap of faith and founded Jag Kitchens in Botany. With a huge amount of inspiration and even more perspiration Jag has become a household name for kitchens right around Auckland. Everyday thousands of renovators and builders come home to Jag kitchens that form the heart of their home and have stood the test of time. But Malcolm and Lesley decided now was the hour to take time to reflect on their tremendous achievement and find a new rhythm of life. Luckily with foresight, and succession in mind Malcolm and Lesley made sure that their son Nick was an integral part of the business since the get go, as was his wife Jen. More recently Neal Parker joined the team and very quickly became an indispensable member of the team. These three have more than 25 years experience in the business between them and are absolutely delighted to have acquired the business from Malcolm and Lesley. As Malcolm says, “We have always focussed on Jag Kitchens being a family business, and we are delighted to be ‘keeping it in the family’ under the new ownership and operation of Nick, Jen and Neal.”
